Barry Park

Barry has his own consulting business, GBP Consulting Ltd, and has conducted projects for academic and commercial clients in materials technology and specifically nanotechnology. He is a Visiting Professor at the School of Applied Sciences at Cranfield University.

Until March 2014, he was also Theme Manager for Chemical and Consumer Products for the Nanotechnology KTN and co-organised and chaired more than 30 events on various aspects of nanotechnology including two Partnership for Progress events in collaboration with BIS and Defra. Together with Leatherhead Food Research and others he co-organised a series of six events on Nanotechnology and Food on behalf of the NanoKTN Food Focus Group.

Prior to this, Barry was with Oxonica where he was Chief Operating Officer and had responsibility for commercialisation of two nanotechnology based products plus associated intellectual property, quality and regulatory affairs.
