Graham Bonwick

Graham Bonwick is a Professor of Applied Biology in the Department of Biological Sciences. In addition to teaching in the Departments of Biological and Clinical Sciences, Graham is involved in research and knowledge transfer in the food chain sciences, as well as the development of industry responsive blended learning programmes for workforce up-skilling. Graham is Project Director for the ERDF NoWFOOD Project, which created a centre of excellence (North West Food Research Development Centre) and he leads the Food Growth Team in the Faculty of Life Sciences. He is also actively involved in science communication activities for schools, colleges and the wider community to promote public awareness and engagement with science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
