Keith Barnes is currently the Chairman of the Packaging Society previously known as the Institute of Packaging and has been involved with packaging for more than 50 years. He has a background at Ilford Ltd and Boots before becoming a consultant. Keith is a Fellow and Council member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining as well as being a Chartered Scientist and Chartered Environmentalist. He has provided many articles and presentations and coordinates the UK Packaging Summer School for Michigan State University.
